I find it funny I can't find a parts counts for any of the Bronco Flak 41 kits, but I can find parts counts for Dragon's super Pz. IVs (which is over 1000.)

THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! That is a great pic!!!

1000 is about right on the Pz.IV....about 2000 probably in the box too!! LOL!!! Bronco is right up there too!! Not sure on the count though!! Looking at a Pz IV on the table and there is 505 without the Magic Tracks and PE!! About the same amount in unused parts as well!!! Crazy!!!

P.E. is what added so much time to this build. I know it looks great, but dang its a time consumer. I WANT TO PAINT!

All worth the wait!! Patience!! LOL!!! Soon enough!! ;D Looks too good to rush now!! ;)

Hey, T you ready for delivery???

Well, after hours a few hours of fighting with P.E. on the right hand blast shield I am finally complete with the building phase!!!!

Here are some pictures. I hope you like them.

There are some odds and ends, ammo, range finder, etc that I may put together if I do a small dio or vignette or something. But, its time for Primer!!!!

This beast look fantastic Adam!!! Nice work on all that delicate stuff!! LOL...don't temp me brotha', I would jump on 146 S and meet you half way!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Haha, we should get together soon. Once I get primer on this beast. I'm itching to get working on the A-10 next.

Prime it up!! A-10? Another nice chance there for some weathering!!! ;D

Yes sir! I love the A-10, my favorite aircraft of all time. I picked up a Aires Aces II seat for it, P.E. and decals from two bobs. I don't want to try and over kill it on details but I want to make it better than the italeri kit I built last year. The Eduard P.E. set allows you to open the gun bay and show the GAU-8 Avenger gun in the plane!

PRIMER!!!!

I'm going to give it a few more hours to cure up a bit more, then I was thinking about laying down dark yellow as a base coat. What do you guys think?

Thanks for following along!

My favorite part of the job....PRIMER!!! Always give such a nice, crisp clean look to the work!! Dark Yellow sounds like a plan!! Any thoughts on pre-shading?

Pre-Shading you say... I didn't think about that, but sounds good to me. What area's should I pre-shade?

8)

With a dark gray or black into the inside corners and lower sections, around structures...anywhere there would be shadows or darker paint. The horizontal and upper sections would be faded a little. This is a fairly complex "busy" piece but taking some time and working around these structures and panel lines on the shield will be well worth it I think.

Good thing is the shields are only tacked on w/ a small dab of CA glue. I'll take take those of for next phase - pre-shading!

The shields could stay on if you needed...just kind of pre-shade the inside area behind...unless your intentions were to take them off for painting anyway? Dark areas, are just that, dark. ::) LOL...keep looking back at the pics....love primer!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
