A bit more progess on Coran's X. I finished the front strut.

And opened up one panel. Just one.

LOL. Thanks guys. I'm gonna have to build a tank soon so I don't get type cast as an X-Wing modeler. LOL.

So...I heard a rumor that there is a HUGE Millennium Falcon group build soon....The timing is great to build my 144 Falcon for this diorama...and tie that into the Falcon group build. Then, once this project is complete - and only once this project is complete, I will build the MPC Falcon.

Promise.

I've got a MPC Falcon kit sitting in my storage room. When you're done with this project and ready to take on the MPC kit let me know. I'd be willing to do a "build along" with you.

Sounds good Weezer. There is a HUGE Falcon group build starting tommorrow....

I have alot of resin aftermarket for my MPC, but you're more than welcome to build along just the same.

Yeah I saw that group build. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to "gett'er done" in time.
I also have a few aftermarket kits, but I'm considering scratch building most of the custom work.

Work was nuts this week, so I'm doing a bit of catch up here Scott. That cockpit looks phenomenal man! Nice brass work on those struts too. You've got this one on the ropes Bro, keep punchin'!!

Well I think this 'build' is done...except for joining the fuselage parts together and attaching guns and engines.

To detail that open panel I first gave myself a back wall.

Using the greeblie bin I pulled out anything that looked like it might work and then edited my choices down until I had something that worked within the allotted space.

Like mentioned above, a few little things to glue on, but for the most part this build is done.

Now....where's that 144 Falcon....
