Desslok's Command Cruiser....

a bang up job as always!

always enjoy watching you work!

I've seen your stash...1 down 50,000 to go ;)

Good work,
nice to see you work through and succeed over travails, and trials.
Like your vids. :)
She looks good, and what did you think of the Live action "Space Battleship Yamato" ?

It is finished.

Now what am I going to do for entertainment?
I know, build something.

What water marks are you talking about though, John?
Did I miss something?

Overall, just a cool run of videos, on a cool looking space
Craft from my youth. And a darn good build too.

Thank you, Yeah go build something! :p

I picked up the model with wet hands and it left water marks on the paint. I gave it overnight and the marks were still there. So repaint!

I really like the way this came out. Beautiful color as well. In regards to the paint peeling up. I would suggest doing a clear coat before applying the tape. there is also a paint prep product you can spray on that helps adhear paint so tape will not peel it up. I dont remember the name but trekworks over on youtube is using it with good success. Again great work

I got a couple of comments on YouTube to do a clear coat as well..... I will have to remember that.

I liked the movie pretty well. Warning it is long, 2.5 to 3 hours. Also, you will NOT like the ending at all. I didn't. I thought it was the weakest part.

Acting at then end was bad too.

But if you can get the disk for a low price, then I say go for it.

Great result, Grendels! It's especially useful to go back through your SBS and see the preshading and follow immediately to the result, and see the effect.

Congrats on the finishing with this one, G!
She turned out really, really nice.
And nice choice for the main color - I think this tone really suits her much better than the flat blue, sujjested on the box cover.
Well done, my friend!

Sometimes I have to look at it. The pre-shading came out pretty well. Very subtle...

Thanks! I didn't like the dark blue. I know this is from a cartoon, but it just didn't feel right. So she got a light blue instead.

Nice work! last time i saw this you had just started it,cool stuff ,nifty job.

She looks great John! It's cool that you got to do some experimenting and turn out a wonderful build. The pre-shading looks excellent. Take it easy, CT
