Great work on this! I loved Starblazers when I was young and watching you build this has now given me the desire to build a Yamato. Albeit it'll be awhile until I can finish other kits, I have now found another series to pursue building. Thanks for the inspiration. That was some nice repair work on that part. Looked very tricky.

Watching you with that new airbrush was interesting. I really must replace my compressor. It gets nowhere near that pressure.

I had the movie on video when I was a kid. And I mean when I was very little. It seems that these pictures and sounds are seared in to my memory.

I really have to watch this stuff.

Well maybe after I get through all the classic Dr Who! ;D

Then I'll think about building some of the ships.

i noticed that when you were using the Valleijo air color you did not need to mix it with thinner. Are these paints pre mixed for airbrusing?

I just got through watching them when I started this build. It in part was the inspiration for this kit. Also, I have quite a few of them in the stash and I wanted to see how one of them built up.

I have the model air paints. They are pre-thinned for the airbrush. I wanted to use something simple for my first run with them.
