Ok only a small update....engine fans have been added:

Not an update in any way unfortunately but something done of you may find interesting. This the blue print of the 32" that the hasbro is sitting on. Close as I'm ever going to get to build a studio scale falcon....

That actually isn't that far off and versus the cost of one from MR the Hasbro plus a ton of work and if you luck out and get the aftermarket stuff.. To me anyways I think this one is better, because you can make it your ship and keep it as close as you want or make it your own bucket of bolts....thanx for the info..
 
Thanks guys, started on the side walls while I wait for my LED's to turn up. Al the rear has been chopped off:

Then took on the challenge of removing the walls to allow the resin new ones to sit back slightly:

Then marked a line where I'd like the new walls to sit:

Then glued a strip of styrene so the new walls have something to butt up against:

That's awesome. I caved on my no new kits rule and ordered a Falcon....now I need to win the Sci-fi category to get the resin!!!
