Well I decided to jump i to the sherman pond and I'm starting with a M4a3 Iwo Jima . It's Doris 53 with the 4th Marine tank Batallion, February 1945.
So far , I've added some new welds , a bit of 3 d printed parts with more on the printer .
Added some cast texture and about to move onto the smaller detail parts.20241110_141629.jpg20241110_141631.jpg20241110_141639.jpg20241110_141654.jpg20241110_141648.jpg20241110_141642.jpg20241110_141639.jpg

Nice :) Is this the Dragon M4A2 kit? It looks like it from the colour of the plastic, anyway.

One thing I would improve, though, is the grille on the wading trunk. IRL the "frame" on it was fairly narrow angle iron (or similar), whereas yours looks more like planks :) Just using thinner plastic strip (1 mm wide or so) would improve the look a lot.

It's actually a academy kit . I'll take a look at the grill for sure

Oh! I didn't know they also moulded them in grey plastic, that's what threw me off.

I like the way you put the commander's cupola on with the hatch opening to the rear. It's not the standard orientation but is something you see in some photos of USMC M4s on Iwo Jima. As for the wading gear, this photo shows well that there's just a narrow bit of L-profile around the top that the mesh is attached to:

This tank also has the hatch hinged at the rear. Are you going to add the mesh over the hatches too, like this tank has?
