Yeah T, had to get a little bit done on her. Didn't feel like painting when I got in late last night. I did end up cleaning up and glueing the cradle to get an idea of how she would normally sit in the hull. I am still 50/50 on if the cradle will be in the hull or on the ground.
Thank you kindly , sir Chris ;D ;D Yeah she's a big'n Don't have the mojo today to paint so I may just start hacking up the hull.....yes hacking and not gluing. Scratch work coming up soon.
wow Chris, that's some serious rain. We had similar a couple of years ago, lots of floading everywhere. I had 2 feet of water in my basement. At least you can still glue parts together ;D
Yeah ,but its getting pretty bad ,all the roads around us are now rivers !!!!,at least Im on the side of a hill ,but the bottom fields are now just private lakes ...lol !....ya gotta laugh ;D
Nothing else you can do Chris. Now if you had fish in them there "private Lakes" then it's fishing time ;D
Doing a bit of styrene work at the moment. Too many sink marks on the inside hull walls to be filling so the sheet styrene will fix that prob. ;D It will also make it easier to mark the locations of ALL the nuts and bolts.
Rob / Scratchmod, there´s a thing that keeps me intrigued ??? ???
As I can see from the pictures, that heavy gun must be smoothbored, right? In one or two of the pictures I can see a white perfectly curved sheet either covering or being the gun bore... ¿have you done / added that curved sheet? Should it be a plastic curved rectangle whose ends contact to form the gun bore... I can´t see any contact point... just a white cylinder... ¿is that a curved sheet or is it a cylinder perfectly fitted inside the gun?? ??? ???
I don´t know if I´m being able to express in english my doubt correctly
