old rusty Karl-Gerat LOKI ????? any interest !!

Very nice Rob!! I see your giving yourself little "fixes" and sneaking this to the bench!! 8)

Loooong ways til there's rust Spud :D

Yeah T, had to get a little bit done on her. Didn't feel like painting when I got in late last night. I did end up cleaning up and glueing the cradle to get an idea of how she would normally sit in the hull. I am still 50/50 on if the cradle will be in the hull or on the ground.

Pics a bit later.

I know you fellas like pics so here are a few for you. The first two are size comparisons again with the Grille.

That's it for now, maybe more work later this week.

The pic with the Grille really shows the size of this monster  nice tidy work as always Rob ;)

Chris.

Thank you kindly , sir Chris ;D ;D Yeah she's a big'n Don't have the mojo today to paint so I may just start hacking up the hull.....yes hacking and not gluing. Scratch work coming up soon.

wow Chris, that's some serious rain. We had similar a couple of years ago, lots of floading everywhere. I had 2 feet of water in my basement. At least you can still glue parts together ;D

Yeah ,but its getting pretty bad ,all the roads around us are now rivers !!!!,at least Im on the side of a hill ,but the bottom fields are now just private lakes ...lol !....ya gotta laugh ;D

Chris.

Nothing else you can do Chris. Now if you had fish in them there "private Lakes" then it's fishing time ;D

Doing a bit of styrene work at the moment. Too many sink marks on the inside hull walls to be filling so the sheet styrene will fix that prob. ;D It will also make it easier to mark the locations of ALL the nuts and bolts.

Yeah the sheet will probably look neater too ;)

I reckon if the water keeps rising like it is ,the fish will be able to float up the roads from the nearby lakes and into the fields ;D

Chris.

So Rob! You 'gave' to peer pressure? Or could you hear your 'evil self' telling you to start it!

LOL

Either way Looks nice and big!

Looks like someone parked their cars in a river....where did the road go ::) You fellas be safe over there.

Thankfully its calmed down today Rob ....the sun is actually out at the minute :D ..and Im in for my op tomorrow !

Chris.

ya i was suprised to see the sun, it was suposed to rain like a mofo, but again the irish wether people cant read the weather charts..

thats looking real nice its a biggy

and sorry to hear about the wet stuff coming from england we know all about flooding

keep up the good work and the chin

john

Ufff... that´s really a lot of water ::) :p

Rob / Scratchmod, there´s a thing that keeps me intrigued ??? ???

As I can see from the pictures, that heavy gun must be smoothbored, right? In one or two of the pictures I can see a white perfectly curved sheet either covering or being the gun bore... ¿have you done / added that curved sheet? Should it be a plastic curved rectangle whose ends contact to form the gun bore... I can´t see any contact point... just a white cylinder... ¿is that a curved sheet or is it a cylinder perfectly fitted inside the gun?? ??? ???

I don´t know if I´m being able to express in english my doubt correctly :p

Thanks
RG
