Merseajohn's Corellian YT-2400 'outrider' 1/72 Resin

Superb job covering those screws!

Will you be waiting for the Aves to arrive in the post, or will you use another seam filler for that?

Thanks guys, the aves has arrived but at the moment I'm using Vallejo filler, it's really good leaves a smooth as glass finish. But it won't fill the biggest of gaps it shrinks a little when it drys. I should have it all filled and sanded by the end of the weekend then a bit of colour!! Lightings all done and I'm happy with it, I'll give you a sneak peek before I lay the base coat down ;)

I don't see any screws. This is a great build John. You're totally rocking it. Once you start to paint and weather...man it's gonna come into a life of it's own.

I had to scroll down to the previous post to see where those screws initially were, so don't worry about them, they look like absolutely gone.
Great job with the cockpit gaps, John! And I'm pretty sure You would deal with the problems on the side easily as well.
Keep us updated, buddy ;)

Thanks again for the kind words, really gives you a boost! Anyway small update...NO HOT SPOTS!

The engine effect looks absolutely awesome!
So, in the end, how exactly did You deal with the hotspots?

Well thanks to Grendels I used wax/baking/grease proof paper whatever it's called.

It is looking nice!

Is it possible you have a little bit of light leak from the engines? That would give the gunner chair a blue tone.
