Hi Folks

I spent another hour or so on this one ,got the Flak assembled ,I havent fitted the ammo tray to make painting easier .The Shields are only tacked on to get the fit right ,these need to come off and get some scratch detail adde to the insides ...if you look at them they have all the rivet detail on the front ...but there is nothing on the other side ! ,so all the joining plates need made and rivets added . Other than that its a nice little build .









This all needs stripped down now and small details added ,stuff like lights, grab handles ,steps ,pipes ,welds ...oh yes ...still need to make the exhaust too

This ROX !! I like th Mesh P.E. ..... it looks a lot better than Dragon's ... and 100X easier than th Mesh from Griffon ! :-X

The Tamiya equivalent has the same Hood to Cab problem! What did you use for the weather seal?

It looks metallic in nature! Lead foil? Looks really cool!

Wont be long till I get to the real fun bit ,I'd like to be starting paint by the end of the week

Norm ,thanks fella ...yes you are correct ..sort of ,it is foil ,but its aluminium foil tape you ever seen that stuff ,its ultra thin Aluminium tape that comes on a roll ...like masking tape ,its an inch wide .You can wipe the glue of with a bit of white spirit .It conforms really nice to all sorts of shapes ,I've even used it for body trim parts on the cars It is available in different widths too
